Wisdo Health USA, Inc. (“we”, “our”, “us”) takes your privacy seriously, and we want you to know how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect any candidate who applies to an open position with us, who we contact for or who express interest in employment with us; who attend a recruitment event; or who undergoes an interview or assessment with us (“Candidates”).
Data We Collect
  1. Identity information such as: full name, date of birth, and proof of eligibility to work, and information collected as part of a background check.
  2. Contact details such as: home addresses, phone number, and email address.
  3. Information about your career including qualifications, references, resume or curriculum vitae, and membership of professional bodies.
  4. Demographics such as racial or ethnic origin and nationality.
  5. Information from other sources, such as past employers and recruitment agents.
How we use the Information we collect about Wisdo Candidates
Wisdo will process your personal information for the purposes listed below:
  1. Recruitment, including verifying eligibility to work, obtaining professional and personal references, and screening of educational and professional background data prior to and during the course of the interviewing process and employment, including processing criminal record checks where permitted under applicable law.
  2. Compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and administrative obligations and responsibilities of Wisdo in relation to its role as your potential employer.
  3. Monitoring and reporting in compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. 
How We Share Employees’ Information
We share your information with companies who perform services on our behalf for criminal background checks. These companies are prohibited from retaining, using, or sharing your information for any purpose other than providing services for us.
Retention Period
We will retain your information in accordance with the appropriate statutory limitation periods as required by applicable law, in line with our legitimate business purposes for as long as your application is active or for as long as needed to comply with our legal obligations, a court order or to defend or pursue legal claims, in line with industry codes of practice, to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Data Transfer
We and the third parties we work with may transfer your information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We will take steps to ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it, consistent with applicable law.
Requests about your information
When required by applicable law, we will process your request to access or delete information we hold about you. To submit such a request, please contact support@wisdo.com.
Changes to this Notice
This Notice may be amended from time to time at Wisdo’s discretion.
